April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

Throughout April, we recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness and come together as a community to protect our most vulnerable children. Keeping children safe requires a collective commitment from families, educators, faith-based organizations, nonprofits, businesses, and local government. By working together, we can provide the resources, education, and support systems that strengthen families and help prevent abuse and neglect.

At CASA of El Paso, we are committed every day to supporting children who have experienced abuse or neglect by ensuring they have a dedicated advocate and a voice in the court system.

On April 1, 2026, El Paso City Council and Mayor Renard Johnson, officially proclaimed April as Child Abuse Prevention Month, recognizing the importance of protecting and advocating for children in our community.
